Google has launched SynthID.com, a public website where anyone can check whether online content carries invisible AI watermarks. The tool detects SynthID watermarks from Google and its industry partners, including OpenAI, NVIDIA, and Kakao, with Apple support listed as coming soon. Previously, checking for SynthID watermarks required querying Gemini directly, and the detector was restricted to trusted testers. Google says Gemini has integrated SynthID across over 180 billion images and videos and 240,000 years of audio.
