If something is wrong, unclear, or could be better, tell us. A person reads every message.
Email support@theinfomachine.fyi. We aim to reply within two business days. It helps to include the email address you subscribed with, and a link to the page or the brief you're asking about.
Every email we send has a one-click unsubscribe link at the bottom, and it takes effect immediately: you don't need to email us or wait for a reply. If the emails have stopped arriving on their own, check your spam folder first, then write to us.
The same link at the bottom of every email also takes you to your preferences, if you'd rather change what you receive than stop it.
Everything we publish is free to read. A Supporter subscription is patronage: it pays for the work rather than unlocking anything. It's billed through our payment processor, Stripe, at the price shown when you sign up, and it renews automatically until you cancel.
You can cancel at any time from the subscription portal, reachable from the manage link in any email we send you, or by writing to support@theinfomachine.fyi and asking us to cancel it for you. Cancelling stops future charges. And if you want your money back, ask: we will refund you, no questions asked. If a charge looks wrong, email us before disputing it and we will sort it out.
Tell us at corrections@theinfomachine.fyi and say which story and what is wrong. Each story page lists the publications behind it, so a correction can be checked against the same sources you can see.
Our privacy policy covers what we keep and why. To have your data removed entirely, email us and ask; we will delete it. The terms of service cover the rest of the relationship.
