Twitch adds opt-out for Amazon using creator content to train generative AI

The full picture
Twitch introduced a setting allowing users to block Amazon from using their streams, VODs, clips, chats, and channel images to train generative AI models. The setting is opt-out by default: content continues to be used unless creators actively visit twitch.tv/settings/security to disable it. Amazon had been using Twitch content for AI training for more than two years before this opt-out became available, after a company executive confirmed the practice.
