TIME100 AI 2026 Names CoreWeave and Databricks CEOs
The inclusions put AI infrastructure and data platform executives on a list that, in prior editions, also featured researchers, ethicists, and policymakers. The recognition reflects the role cloud infrastructure and enterprise data platforms play alongside model developers in the AI ecosystem.
TIME's 2026 TIME100 AI list includes CoreWeave co-founder and CEO Mike Intrator and Databricks co-founder and CEO Ali Ghodsi among the most influential people in AI. CoreWeave noted that nine of the top ten foundation model providers run on its infrastructure. Ghodsi was named in the AI leaders category; TIME described Databricks as giving AI agents access to secure, governed enterprise data. TIME has published the list in prior years, with an inaugural edition spanning creatives, policymakers, and ethicists, and a 2023 edition whose editor-in-chief described the list as a map of the relationships and power centers driving AI's development.
