Cerebras published benchmarks showing its hardware powers OpenAI's GPT-5.6 Sol Ultrafast mode to complete 2,500 Humanity's Last Exam questions in 11 hours 11 minutes against 78 hours 27 minutes for Claude Fable 5 with comparable accuracy, and a 5.6x end-to-end speedup on GDP-Val.
OpenAI previewed the mode on August 13 via API to select customers, claiming speeds up to 14x faster and 750 output tokens per second, targeting corporate use cases including incident response and financial market analysis.
