NVIDIA Showcases European AI Deployments at GTC Berlin

The gist

Multiple European organizations across insurance, energy, retail, and environmental science are deploying NVIDIA AI models in production or near-production contexts. Polarise's sovereign AI cloud addresses European data protection requirements by hosting entirely on European infrastructure.

The full picture

At GTC Berlin in October 2026, NVIDIA and its partners announced and demonstrated a range of AI applications and infrastructure across Europe. Polarise launched the Polarise AI Cloud, comprising two products: Polarise Rise, an enterprise chatbot assistant, and Polarise Drive, which offers API access to open-weight models, both running on European infrastructure and built on NVIDIA platforms including Nemotron models. Nebius is demonstrating three early-access NVIDIA Blueprints for retail: an Agent Harness for Employee Productivity consolidating scheduling, task management, and inventory alerts; an Inventory Simulation and Optimization blueprint modeling demand scenarios; and an Agentic Finetuning Flywheel that generates training data and fine-tunes open source models from real-world feedback. NVIDIA launched StormScope EU, a regional short-term forecasting model trained on European weather data using EUMETSAT satellite observations at 10-minute intervals, as part of its Earth-2 open model family. European organizations are deploying Earth-2 models across multiple domains: AXA is using FourCastNet 3 to simulate over 1,000 cyclone seasons for regional risk assessment, Vaisala Xweather is integrating Earth-2 with its own lightning data to extend storm forecasting lead times, the University of Manchester adapted CorrDiff for UK air-quality modeling on an NVIDIA DGX Spark desktop, TotalEnergies is piloting StormScope-based solar-radiation nowcasting at two photovoltaic sites, and Space42 developed SARDiff4Height using CorrDiff and NVIDIA PhysicsNeMo to estimate surface heights from radar images. Separately, at GTC Paris in June 2025, CEO Jensen Huang announced a partnership with Mistral to deploy 18,000 Grace Blackwell chips for an AI cloud platform and a 10,000-GPU industrial AI cloud in Germany for AI-driven manufacturing.
