Grok Bot can be assigned its own email address to sign up for services, contact businesses, and schedule meetings on behalf of users
Grok Bot Adds Native X Search and Personal Email for Agentic Tasks
These features move Grok Bot from a conversational tool toward one that can take actions on external services on a user's behalf. The email capability in particular allows the bot to interact with systems outside the X platform.
The full picture
Grok Bot on X has gained two agentic capabilities: native X platform search and a personal email address. The search feature lets the bot pull posts from X in bulk, read timelines, check mentions, and monitor activity. The bot can also draft posts but cannot publish them directly; a human must still press the button to publish. The email feature lets users assign the bot its own address, which it can use to sign up for services, contact businesses, and schedule meetings on behalf of users.
How it developed
Grok Bot gains native X search capability, including bulk post retrieval, timeline reading, mention checks, and activity monitoring; direct posting not yet available
