Snaptrude Launches Full-Building AI Agent; Dream Raises $17M

The full picture
Snaptrude has released an AI agent that takes a site brief and produces a construction-ready LOD 400 building model with structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and drawings. Since August, users have processed over 140 billion tokens through the platform, with firms including Jacobs, Kajima, and VMDO among customers; more than 2,000 designers completed over 25,000 tasks during early access since September. Snaptrude also published AECBench, a benchmark that scores AI building design against real architect review criteria. Separately, Dream, a startup founded by former Palantir executives, raised a $17 million seed round led by Andreessen Horowitz, with participation from SV Angel, XYZ, and Zigg Capital. Dream's platform generates full building layouts including plumbing and HVAC and is already deployed across 10 active projects in Texas and California. Dream competes in the same space as Snaptrude, Motif, and Arcol.
